Wheel Alignments
What is a WHEEL ALIGNMENT?
WHEEL ALIGNMENT is a series of precise measurements and adjustments of the wheels so that the wheels are perpendicular to the ground and parallel to each other. The purpose of these adjustments is to ensure the tires are making full tread contact to the road with minimum rolling resistance; this helps the vehicle to track straight when driving along a straight, level road.
At MID ISLAND AUTOMOTIVE, WHEEL ALIGNMENTS are performed by trained certified technicians using state-of-the-art Three-D Alignment equipment.
You probably need a WHEEL ALIGNMENT if your vehicle!
- Pulls to the left or right while driving
- If your steering wheel isn’t centered or doesn’t return after cornering
- If your tires have rapid or excessive wear or make a screeching sound on sharp turns
- If your vehicle seems to wander or you have a hard time driving it straight down the road
Rough roads, worn out steering and suspension parts and road hazards are some of the causes of these conditions!
The Benefits of a WHEEL ALIGNMENT are:
- Reduced tire wear
- Better fuel economy
- Improved handling
- Safer driving
Your steering and suspension system should be inspected every year or 24000 KM’s.
