Ron and the guys have always gone over and above on our vehicles. I HIGHLY recommend taking your vehicle here... there is no other option in my opinion, fair prices, fast reliable service and are by far 100% honest which is hard to find nowadays! Thanks Ron and everyone!!!

Spent $2000 so far and they haven't fixed the issue. The steering is wonky and I drive my kids on the highway on a weekly basis. I told them I don't want everything fixed, but they keep finding stuff that "needs" to be done and still haven't fixed the problem, or even diagnosed the problem that I took it in for in the first place. My car doesn't feel safe to drive, I will be finding a new mechanic

Ron has always accommodates my appointment books and made sure my vechile was done in a timely manner. This last service he went above and beyond coming in on his day off to get my vechile up and running.

They did great for maintenance schedule. Even texting you whenever it's finish.

Ron and his team at Mid Island Automotive have been my go-to people for servicing of my 2011 Nissan Quest SV since I purchased it in 2020. I count on them to give my van all it needs, as well as any thoughts on what it may need in the future. I appreciate this kind of heads up as it helps me to ensure my budget is ready for what's coming next. They recently serviced my van in preparation for a trip I took from Nanaimo, BC, to Fort McMurray AB. I had left booking the appointment to the last minute so I was grateful to get it into the shop the day before I was scheduled to hop on a ferry. A little while into the servicing they inform me that my back breaks are pretty much metal on metal (probably a result of many recent trips to Tofino and back, lol) so for safety's sake I should get them replaced asap. Unfortunately they didn't have the parts on hand. When I stated that I was booked on the first ferry the next day, they found a way to get the parts in time to do all the necessary work, and by the end of their work day I was on my way, and safely so. Like always, because of Ron and his team's work, I felt confident on the road, and my van rode like a dream. It was a very long and very wonderful drive. You've got me as a client for life :)

I was recommended to Mid-Island Automotive by another shop in town as the only local automotive shop that could rebuild the rear differential on my Pathfinder. They did a fantastic job! Knowing they can handle any repair will keep me coming back.
