My car broke down while I was visiting the Island and the team at Mid Island Auto helped me diagnose the issue and worked with me to price out my options. When it ultimately didn’t make sense to repair the car (old car with engine trouble) they held it for me and helped with the handoff to a tow truck when I couldn’t be there in person. I basically brought in a car that was heading to the scrap yard, but they were super helpful, thorough and had great communication throughout an unfortunate situation. If I was living in Nanaimo I’d be back for sure!

I got objective, proof backed information along with in-depth photos of the engine and just classic know-how and experience to help me make my purchase decision. A family member needed to meet an upcoming important deadline of which her car was needing a safety inspection done. Ron was able to accommodate a safety inspection before the deadline. The day the car was to arrive to the shop for the appointment, the key snapped in the door lock. Ron jumped into action and got the key issue resolved quickly and the car made it to the appointment.
